Young Risk Professionals Event gets FERMA off to a great start

The Young Risk Professionals networking session attended by over 100 young risk professionals from across Europe kicked off day two of FERMA – The Federation of European Risk Management Associations – Europe’s premier risk management event. Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) and FERMA developed the Young Risk Professionals Programme to help raise the profile of tomorrow’s leading risk experts. The well-attended event also attracted some high-profile speakers including the current FERMA President, Peter Den Dekker who said, “LRQA has been instrumental in helping FERMA develop the Young Risk Professionals Programme. We look forward to working with LRQA in developing the global risk management leaders of the future.” The event also saw incoming FERMA President, Jorge Luzzi, speaking at the session, as well as two of Europe’s top young risk professionals, from Triumph International and Shell.
FERMA’s objectives are to support the development of Risk Management in Europe and to be a significant stakeholder at European level on risk management and insurance issues.
