Worldwide supplier invests €8m to secure competitive advantages in food safety

3rd December 2007

GC Hahn has opened the doors to its modernised production site in Lubeck, which aims to cater to the increasing demand for the very highest standards in food safety and traceability, so a recent article on Foodqualitynews.com reports.

Worldwide supplier of food stabiliser systems Hahn has invested €8m in extending the site to meet the strictest of standards and regulations and to secure long term competitive advantages in terms of food safety.

Marketing managing director Jan Dijksterhuis said: “We have always met every safety regulation, but it is quite obvious from what we hear from the food industry and our customers that food safety and the prevention of cross-contamination is becoming more of an issue.

“As we become more global, supplying international customers, quality management and traceability are evermore important.”
