Welcome to the bussinessassurance.com climate change podcast series.
This episode is an interview with Neil Griffiths, Director of Health, Safety and Environmental at TNT express. LRQA recently certified TNT’s environmental management system to the ISO 14001 standard.
Neil Griffiths, TNT, talks about the assessment process and how it affected their processes and made them look at our environmental impacts. They understand that as a transport organisation, their most significant aspect of operations is that they run a fleet of over 3,200 vehicles, which uses a large amount of diesel fuel every year. So their focus is very much to look at those environmental impacts, and deciding what they can do to reduce them.
LRQA’s Business Assurance helps you manage your systems and risks to improve and protect the current and future performance of your organisation.
