According to the latest ISO survey, ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management System Standard) certification is up 70% year on year, with ISO/IEC 27001 (IT Security Management System Standard) certification being up by 40% in 2009 as compared to 2008.

The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) has announced that over one million ISO 9001 certificates have now been issued globally. The latest ISO survey (published in October 2010) includes information through the end of 2009 and shows that certificates have now been issued in 178 countries.
