Choice Editing and China

China has agreed to phase out incandescent lightbulbs, according to this article.
The switch could mitigate 500 million tonnes of carbon dioxide annually, equal to about half the climate-warming emissions of Germany.
The European Union is scheduled to “choice edit” out inefficient lightbulbs within a decade.
China currently produce 70% of the world’s lightbulbs.

Majority of big brands addressing climate change issues

A recent CDP study has shown that the majority of large global companies have gotten the climate change message. The report highlighted the actions and views of those companies concerning climate change. 95% of those companies viewing climate change as a risk having already implemented a greenhouse gas reduction programme.

ISO launches new greenhouse gas standard
