A new study by Accenture in Sustainability Magazine shows that 93% of global corporation CEO’s believe that sustainability will be critical to their future success, 78% say that sustainability is now viewed as a source of revenue growth and 72% said that stakeholder education is critical.

Waitrose, the UK supermarket retailer, is set to audit all of the suppliers for the new Heston Blumenthal range.
According to this FoodManufacture.co.uk article, “The products will be sourced from “existing Waitrose suppliers who are known and trusted”, a Waitrose spokeswoman said.

Cor Groenveld, LRQA’s global food safety expert, delivered a presentation at the Washington D.C. Global Food Safety Conference. His presentation on the Food Supply Chain was one of the highlights of the world’s largest food safety conference.
