LRQA, wish to inform you of the publication of the new ISO 9001:2008 standard, LRQA’s processes for transition and how this will affect you if you are ISO 9001 certified.

On November 17, The International Standards Organisation (ISO) published ISO 9001:2008, the latest edition of the International Standard used by organizations in 175 countries as the framework for their quality management systems (QMS).

ISO 9001:2008 does not introduce any significant new requirements. The changes provide clarification based on eight years of experience worldwide.

All changes support LRQA’s existing interpretation and therefore any required changes to your management system should be minimal.

We anticipate that the majority of clients will not require additional time for us to carry out a transition assessment; however, transition to ISO 9001:2008 cannot be completed if any major nonconformities are open.

This on-demand webinar provides information on the new ISO 9001:2008 standard, including a brief of the changes from the 2000 version and how these changes may impact your management system.
