Mattel recalls Chinese-made toys contaminated with lead paint

According to an article in the New York Times, Mattel the world’s largest toy company, announced its second major recall in a month of Chinese-made toys contaminated with lead paint, .
Mattel issued a statement, saying that it was recalling a total of 436,000 Chinese-made toys, that had “impermissible levels of lead.”
