Management systems at CEO level

4th January 2007

Management systems at CEO level There’s been plenty of acknowledgement that CEO involvement helps adoption of management systems - the recent research conducted by LRQA confirms this - and plenty of grumbling that senior management often ignore them entirely.

Not the case at DP World, whose CEO Mohammed Sharaf recently accepted their ISO 28000 certificate from LRQA.

Said Sharaf of the new security management systems standard:

“We are very pleased to have achieved this recognition. Security is a baseline service we offer our customers. This recognition underlines to them that we are committed to focusing strongly on maintaining or enhancing security in our terminals around the world.”
