LRQA Verification Expert at Global CDP Reporter Services Members Roundtable

On Thursday 5 May, LRQA participated in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Reporter Services Members Roundtable. The theme of the event was ‘overcoming reporting challenges and sharing best practice’ to include verification and assurance services. Using the latest technology, the event was staged via Global Cisco Telepresence with around 40 attendees from some of the world’s leading organisations including Boeing, Shell, Microsoft, SAP, Deutsche Telecom and National Grid spanning hub locations from the USA, UK and mainland Europe.
Madlen King, LRQA Head of Climate Change & Sustainability was invited to attend in the role of verification expert. The event is a further testament to CDP’s ongoing commitment to encouraging the application of robust and credible verification procedures in the collection of carbon emissions data.
