“From an operational cost point of view, energy is a baseline cost that it is just lost money to companies and the more they can reduce their energy bills the less that baseline cost is and the risk to the overall business has been able to stay financially viable its obviously much better when you reduce your baseline costs like that. And because there is a cost one as well as an environmental one, I believe companies should be able to see the benefits of ISO 50001 quite clearly.”
