LRQA Business Assurance certifies Repsol YPF to ISO 50001

Repsol YPF has today announced in a press statement that their A Coruña Refinery is the first in the world to be awarded ISO 50001 for Energy Management. LRQA’s certification, which saw Repsol migrate from their existing Energy Management Standard EN-16001 to ISO-50001, complements the existing climate change services that LRQA delivers to Repsol.
Launched in June, ISO 50001 is the new Energy Management System Standard (EnMS). It is the first global EnMS following from a range of national and regional standards such as EN 16001.
