LRQA becomes first certification body to be accredited by UKAS for ISO 28000 Certification

The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) has today announced that Lloyds Register of Quality Assurance (LRQA) has become the first certification body to be accredited for ISO 28000 certification. ISO 28000 has been developed in response to industry demand for a standard to improve the security of supply chains. This standard supports a risk-management approach to security and provides organisations with a foundation on which to build other complimentary initiative.
