Linpac chooses independent third party verification to measure RTP carbon footprint

Linpac Allibert, part of the UK-based Linpac Group, makes returnable transit packaging (RTP), manufacturing a range of reusable plastic containers and pallets for storage and distribution in supply chains across Europe. It has launched a buy-back scheme in which its European customers return their old, used plastic containers and in exchange are given a credit towards the purchase of more RTPs. The used RTPs are then recycled into new containers. Linpac selected independent third party verification from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance to demonstrate the carbon footprint of RTPs compared to cardboard.
