FSSC 22000 Certification and what it means to you

LRQA launch the second FREE Food Safety Webinar which will cover, the new Global Food Safety Scheme for Food and Food Ingredient Manufacturing, FSSC 22000.
The webinar will take place on 1st July 2009 and will be led by one of the world’s leading food safety experts, Cor Groenveld. Cor is the chairman of the Board of the Foundation for Food Safety Certification, the organisation responsible for the FSSC 22000 development.
The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), whose members include the world’s largest food manufacturers and retailers, have now accepted the content of FSSC 22000. This means that FSSC 22000 certification audits can start and that organisations can begin applying for GFSI approved certification.
