Forum for the Future’s new report: Check out Carbon

2nd July 20085 Comments

Forum for the Future’s new report, sponsored by Lloyd’s Register, entitled Check-out Carbon

Carbon labelling is often touted as a way of enabling consumers to shop sustainably. But is trialling carbon labels just a PR exercise or can communicating the climate change impacts of everyday products to consumers genuinely drive consumer behaviour for the better?

Forum for the Future’s independent research on this subject – sponsored by Lloyd’s Register – included consumer focus groups, expert interviews and surveys. The aim was to explore the role that carbon labelling has to play if the goal is a low-carbon shopping basket.

I began this discussion to evaluate public available web proxies:

    Which are really anonymous?

Which can unblock facebook, myspace etc, in other words: are fresh ?

    Which would you recommend?

    Thanks for your help,
    Dschibut

P.S.: In my land, the freedom of speech is somehow constrained, please give me a hint, if you are not sure about your recommendation.

    Hey!

I just checked out The Rasmus new Fan Page on Facebook where you can play the latest tunes from the BLACK ROSES album…
The fifth song “Your Forgiveness” is so much better than the “Livin’ In A World Without You” single… don’t you agree?

I know everyone has different tastes and all, but seriously,
the fifth song definitely sounds better than the first!

Listen (and become a fan) here:

PS: You can also win tickets and meet the band on the Facebook page ;)
