Committee on Professional Competency Requirements commences its work

Following an extended consultation and selection process, the Committee on Professional Competency Requirements was established last month (June 2010) and started its work last week. The immediate priority of the Committee is to develop requirements for professional certification in the area of GHG management. Over the course of the next six months, the Committee members, drawing from their diverse collective experience and expertise, will collaborate to draft requirements in this critical area, with the overarching objective of bringing clarity and rigor to GHG professionalisation.
