The CIES International Food Safety Conference is a unique annual event, bringing together over 500 food safety specialists from over 40 countries around the world.

Food Safety remains top of mind for retailers in all regions and there is a wide consensus over the urgency of the issue. The need for retailers to manage carefully food safety has increased with various food alerts and new regulations. Last year’s CIES International Food Safety Conference in Munich highlighted the importance of building confidence in food safety throughout the supply chain.

The 2008 CIES International Food Safety Conference in Amsterdam will be focusing on “Creating value from food risk management”.
