Chartered Management Institutes 2007 Business Continuity Management Survey

5th December 2007

A report on the Chartered Management Institute’s 2007 Business Continuity Management survey has been released. This research was co-sponsored by CCS.

The report reveals a situation which, while having a number of identifiable trends towards improved business continuity planning, is also one where there is still much work to be done. There are still too many organisations that have no business continuity plan, or have one that is unknown to staff or is not subjected to exercise and review.

The report looks to address this side of the picture in a series of key recommendations, which make the case for robust, comprehensive and effectively communicated business continuity arrangements for organisations of all kinds.
