CEO’s and Sustainability

A new study by Accenture in Sustainability Magazine shows that 93% of global corporation CEO’s believe that sustainability will be critical to their future success, 78% say that sustainability is now viewed as a source of revenue growth and 72% said that stakeholder education is critical.
3rd party certification and independent assurance services are two of the ways that organisations are ensuring that their company is improving performance and reducing risk. ALcontrol’s Health, Safety and Environment Manager, David Doherty, said, ” Many look upon certification as a cost, but ALcontrol has clearly demonstrated that the right level of commitment coupled with the right partner (LRQA), can generate significant bottom line benefits.”
