CEO Deutsche Bank addresses FERMA Conference

The President of Sweden’s Risk Management Association (SWERMA) opened today’s plenary session on the first full day of the #fermaforum being held in Stockholm between 2-5 October. Peter den Dekker, President of FERMA then gave a stirring speech on where FERMA is today and how the organisation has grown in size and influence since the 2009 event in Prague – the Stockholm event has over 1500 delegates – a new record for FERMA.
Keynote speaker and VIP Josef Ackermann, CEO of Deutsche Bank, outlined the tough road ahead for the risk industry – particularly for those based in the West. Mr Ackermann focused on the shift in economic power from West to East and the role of regulation as key factors in driving change.
