Are the new EU Risk Management Proposals beneficial?

The latest edition of Strategic Risk Magazine features an article by Andrew Williams on the benefits of new EU Directive proposals on Risk Management.
The article highlights the issues that organisations face in implementing EU Directives when they operate in multiple markets. Pierre Sonigno, General Secretary of the Federation of European Risk Management Association (FERMA) said, “When dealing with risk issues it is important that EU policy-makers use a common vocabulary. They should also refer to well-accepted processes as outlined in widely used standards and guides to good practice.
