Dr Anne-Marie Warris, who wrote VCS 2007, talks about the impacts it will have in the carbon offset market, and outlines its evolution over the last 18 months.

This standard is the work of the VCS Steering Committee, led by the International Emissions Trading Association, IETA, the Climate Group and The World Business Council for Sustainable Development. VCS 2007 is a robust standard for the measurement and recognition of verified emissions reductions created for voluntary use by corporations, organisations and individuals.

Thanks for these vital info as we need to get on to provide genuine and regulations that can determine VCS, as our company is about to start up as new Originators with the help and support from the Clinton Foundation.
