Madlen King is the Global Head of Climate Change for LRQA. She ensures the technical integrity of LRQA climate change services and liaises with external bodies and governments on climate change.
Within this role, Madlen is responsible for the service design, delivery and maintenance of accreditations for all GHG validation and verification schemes worldwide. These include CDM, JI, EUETS, ISO 14064 and VCS. As a lead verifier herself, Madlen has verified many installations, involving leading teams for the verification of multi-site clients. Madlen represents LRQA on the UK Emission Trading Group, CDM DOE forum and various IETA verifier groups.
Madlen has worked within the environmental field for 13 years, including Environmental Management System implementations, IEMA registered Environmental Auditing, EMS and Carbon related training course delivery, due-diligence and pre-acquisition audits.
