Andy Ritchie

Andy Ritchie Andy Ritchie is the Group Environmental Products Manager for the Lloyd’s Register and is based in the UK. He joined Lloyd’s Register in June 2007 and his role is to assist the Group in creating and subsequently maintaining a reputation for excellence within the environmental services market.

Andy has been involved in environmental management since 1992, firstly in the paper-making industry where he led the implementation of an environmental management system through to ISO 14001, and then as an environmental management system assessor with LRQA, working in the power, oil & gas, food and general manufacturing industries. In recent years he has been heavily involved in the development and implementation of systems for greenhouse gas verification within LRQA.

A keen hill-walker and wildlife photographer, his interest in the environment extends to his personal life where he seeks to minimise as much as possible the environmental impact of himself and his family, and spread the word on the need for us all to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle.
